Baseball Recap: Moore County Raiders vs. Cascade Champions
Moore County had lost six straight at home, but on Thursday they dropped down to 4-10 to make it seven. They came up short against the Cascade Champions, falling 6-0. The Raiders were not able to make up for their defeat to the Champions from their previous meeting back in April of 2025.
As for Cascade, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-5. Give their pitching crew some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.
For Cascade's part, Caleb Crouch made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Moore County will host Rocket City at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
