Basketball Recap: Round Mountain Comes Up Short

Round Mountain was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 71-30 loss at the hands of the Smith Valley Bulldogs. The Knights were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 46-8.

Round Mountain's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Smith Valley, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-1.

Round Mountain didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 65-27 loss against Virginia City on the 14th. Smith Valley has also already played their next match, a 59-16 win against Eureka on the 14th.
