Basketball Recap: Altamont Starts Season with Win Against St. Teresa

Altamont had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They breezed past the St. Teresa Bulldogs to the tune of 60-33. That's more bragging rights for the Indians, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Kade Milleville was the offensive standout of the contest as he almost dropped a double-double with 15 points and nine rebounds. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last five games he's played dating back to last season. Jacob Johnson was another key player, putting up five points and 11 boards.

Coming up, Altamont will face off against Cumberland at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup will give the Indians their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for St. Teresa, they will take on Olympia at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
