Basketball Recap: Anthony Jones Key Part of a Team Effort in Gryphons Win

Rocky Mount posted their closest victory since January 16, 2024 on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Roanoke Rapids Yellowjackets, sneaking past 58-55. The Gryphons' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

Rocky Mount's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Anthony Jones, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 16 boards. Another player making a difference was Brelyn Moses, who posted 27 points.
