Volleyball Recap: Lowellville Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Lowellville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Wellsville Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-18, 22-25, 25-16, 25-9.

Sydney Procick paced Lowellville's offense, picking up 13 kills. Procick got some help from Kaileen Diaz and her 24 assists. Procick was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Lowellville's loss dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Wellsville, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-15 record this season.

Lowellville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wellsville, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Central Christian on the 21st.
