Baseball Recap: Trinity Prep's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Trinity Prep came tearing into Saturday's matchup with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Lake Buena Vista Vipers with a sharp 10-4 victory. The Saints might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by six runs or more this season.

Aiden Stillman was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Matias Morales, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Trinity Prep always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .514. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lake Buena Vista only posted an OBP of .233.

Trinity Prep's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-4. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.4 runs over those games. As for Lake Buena Vista, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-10.

Coming up, Trinity Prep will welcome Circle Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Circle Christian has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.54 runs per game on average), something Trinity Prep will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Lake Buena Vista, they will head out to face off against Windermere Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
