Soccer Game Preview: St. Thomas Aquinas vs. Coral Shores

The St. Thomas Aquinas Raiders are taking a road trip to square off against the Coral Shores Hurricanes at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. St. Thomas Aquinas will be strutting in after a victory while Coral Shores will be coming in after a loss.

While St. Thomas Aquinas' win against Doral Academy wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Raiders won by a goal and slipped past the Firebirds 2-1. The victory was familiar territory for St. Thomas Aquinas, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Marisa Robinson and Madison McKeon scored both of St. Thomas Aquinas' goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Coral Shores was not quite Oak Cliff Faith Family Academy's equal in the second half on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 2-1. The loss put an end to Coral Shores' undefeated start to the season.

St. Thomas Aquinas' win bumped their record up to 4-1-1. As for Coral Shores, they now have a losing record of 0-1-2.
