Baseball Recap: McQueen Takes a Loss

McQueen managed to slip by Galena the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Lancers lost 12-4 to the Grizzlies on Saturday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

McQueen saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brooks Porter, who went 1-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

McQueen's loss dropped their record down to 11-13-1. As for Galena, their victory bumped their record up to 11-9.

McQueen wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 4-2 defeat against Damonte Ranch on the 22nd. As for Galena, they have also already played their next game, an 18-10 win against Spanish Springs on the 22nd.
