Baseball Game Preview: Charter School for Applied Tech Eagles vs. Barker Raiders

The Charter School for Applied Tech Eagles will challenge the Barker Raiders at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Charter School for Applied Tech has three straight victories, Barker has five straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Charter School for Applied Tech's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against City Honors, sneaking past 2-0. The game was the first time the Eagles have beaten the Centaurs on their field since May 20, 2016.

Meanwhile, Barker came up short against Alexander on Monday, falling 14-3.

Logan Flint made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Charter School for Applied Tech's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Barker, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-12.

Charter School for Applied Tech skirted past Barker 3-1 when the teams last played back in April. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Raiders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
