Volleyball Recap: Cypress Creek Takes a Loss

Cypress Creek lost against Timber Creek back in October of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bears took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wolves. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Valerie Yambao was a one-woman wrecking crew For Timber Creek. as she had ten digs, two aces, and one block. Yambao is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 13 or more in each of the last seven games she's played.

Cypress Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Timber Creek, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

Cypress Creek will face off against University at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Timber Creek, they will welcome Dr. Phillips at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
