Softball Preview: Central Square Redhawks vs. East Syracuse-Minoa Spartans
The Central Square Redhawks will take on the East Syracuse-Minoa Spartans at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Central Square will be strutting in after a win while East Syracuse-Minoa will be coming in after a defeat.
On Friday, Central Square got the win against Jordan-Elbridge by a conclusive 12-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Redhawks.
Caytlin Redeye was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out 17 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. Redeye was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. That stolen base marked the first that she has snagged this season.

East Syracuse-Minoa's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Central Square, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.
