Soccer Recap: St. Pauls vs. West Bladen
After flying high against Pender last Friday, St. Pauls came back down to earth. The St. Pauls Bulldogs fell just short of the West Bladen Knights by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. St. Pauls was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as West Bladen apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2023.
St. Pauls dropped their record down to 3-10 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for West Bladen, their victory bumped their record up to 2-5-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Pauls will take on West Bladen at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for West Bladen, they will stay at home for another game and welcome East Columbus at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. East Columbus will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something West Bladen surely won't give up without a fight.
