Football Recap: Atlantic Takes a Loss

Atlantic fell victim to Palm Beach Central and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 20-0 to the Palm Beach Central Broncos, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Broncos apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Palm Beach Central found their leader in sophomore KELSI AQUAS, who threw for 178 yards and three touchdowns. Another player making a difference was KAYLEE WOOD, who picked up 45 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Atlantic's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Palm Beach Central, they pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Atlantic will welcome Olympic Heights at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Palm Beach Central, they will head out to take on Royal Palm Beach at 7:15 p.m. on February 26th.
