Mid-East recap September 17, 2013
Shane Flach and Aaron Mayer provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Rock Creek. The longest such play in Mid-East this season, the connection resulted in 74 yards.
Silver Lake took down Neodesha 62-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Dailin Kruger threw for 127 yards and 4 touchdowns and ran for 30 yards during the win.
Rossville's dynamic duo of Tucker Horak and Thatcher Horak proved to be unstoppable against Abilene, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Horak threw for 305 yards and 4 touchdowns and Horak had 160 yards receiving. Devin Morris helped Rossville's passing attack out by catching 5 balls for 59 yards.
The Bulldogs' dynamic duo of Horak and Horak proved tough for the Cowboys to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.
Horak was the best wideout in the league this week as Rossville bested Abilene.
Ethan Miller was the most successful running back in the league this week. In 25 carries, he ran for 63 yards as Wabaunsee beat Jeff Geist's team. Mitchell Wertzberger also contributed to the rushing game with 20 yards on the ground.
Horak put up the best numbers through the air as the Bulldogs bested the Cowboys.
The Chargers are in third place, while Rossville is in second place.
The Eagles led Mid-East in scoring this week after putting up 62 points on the Blue Streaks. Kruger in the win.
