Blackman had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Siegel on Saturday. The Blaze blew past the Stars 3-0. Winning may never get old, but the Blaze sure are getting used to it with their eighth in a row.

Molly Teague paced Blackman's offense, picking up 26 kills. Teague got some help from Jordan Krise and her 48 assists. Anna Ray controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Blackman's record now sits at 19-6. As for Siegel, their loss dropped their record down to 21-16.

Blackman does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Siegel, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Cookeville at 2:00 p.m. on the 14th.
