Basketball Recap: Prairie City-Monroe's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Prairie City-Monroe came into Tuesday's contest having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They managed a 51-47 victory over the West Marshall Trojans on Tuesday. This was a revenge game for the Mustangs: when they faced off against the Trojans back in December of 2024, they had to take a 57-46 defeat.

Prairie City-Monroe's win bumped their record up to 5-7. As for West Marshall, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.

Prairie City-Monroe didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 57-48 victory against Greene County on the 16th. West Marshall has also already played their next matchup, a 68-56 win against Perry on the 17th.
