Volleyball Recap: Liberty Christian Comes Up Short

Liberty Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Concordia Lutheran Crusaders. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Crusaders apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2021.

Charlotte Perkins paced Liberty Christian's offense, picking up four kills. Perkins got some help from Brooklyn Kimberlin and her 11 assists.

Liberty Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 13-19. As for Concordia Lutheran, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-16 record this season.

Liberty Christian has already played their next matchup (against Varsity Opponent), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Concordia Lutheran, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Liberty Christian Academy on the 27th.
