Central Heights and Douglass squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Central Heights had to settle for second. They lost 19-4 to the Bulldogs. The Vikings' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Central Heights saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kreig Garrett, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI.

Central Heights' defeat dropped their record down to 18-4. As for Douglass, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-9-1.
