Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Valley Forge). They came out on top against the Independence Blue Devils by a score of 4-2 on Saturday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for Valley Forge considering their one-goal performance the match before.

Claire Farson and Sabrina Attab scored all four of Valley Forge's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 11 goals.

Valley Forge's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-11. As for Independence, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7-1 record this season.
