 Unity is 0-6 against Cameron since April of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Monday. The Unity Eagles will look to defend their home field  against the Cameron Comets at 5:00  p.m.
 Unity's hitters might be in the hot seat  on Monday considering what happened against Grantsburg  on Tuesday. They lost  10-0 to the Pirates. Having soared to a lofty 13  runs in the game before, Unity's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.
 Meanwhile, Cameron got the win against Ladysmith  on Friday by a conclusive  15-2.
  Emerson Krahenbuhl made a splash no matter where she played. She  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out seven over six innings pitched. Krahenbuhl has been consistent recently: she hasn't  pitched less than five  innings in six consecutive pitching appearances. Krahenbuhl was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-2.
 In other batting news, Cameron let  Emma Anderson and  Dakota Thompson loose on the outfield. Anderson  went 2-for-4 with a  home run, four  RBI,  and two  runs, while  Thompson  went 2-for-3 with four  RBI, a  stolen base,  and a  run. The team also got some help courtesy of  Bailey Olson, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in two of her three plate appearances.
 Unity's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6-1. As for Cameron, their victory bumped their record up to 5-10.
 Unity suffered a grim  16-3 defeat to Cameron  in their previous meeting  back in March. Can Unity avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
