Soccer Recap: Giles County Takes a Loss

Giles County and Summit pushed the score to 6-5 the last time they played Summit, but on Friday defenses reigned supreme. The Bobcats took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Spartans. Giles County were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Summit apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Giles County's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-7-2. As for Summit, they now have a winning record of 7-6-1.

Looking ahead, Giles County will challenge Spring Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Summit, they will take on Hume-Fogg at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Hume-Fogg will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Summit surely won't give up without a fight.
