Valley View was sadly handed a defeat on Monday, but Layla Marino did her best to prevent it. Marino turned in nothing short of a gem, getting 12 digs, seven aces, and five kills. She has been hot, having posted three or more aces the last six times she's played.

Looking ahead, Marino and Valley View will head out on the road to challenge Mountain View at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
