 The Sidney Team and the Chenango Forks Blue Devils squared off in some playoff action  on Wednesday, but sadly the Sidney Team had to settle for second. They received a tough blow  as they fell  72-53 to the Blue Devils. Sidney has now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 It was another big night for  Stephen Samsel, who  scored 41 points along with five  rebounds and two  steals for Chenango Forks. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Samsel has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Walker Paske, who  scored 12 points along with five  assists and five  rebounds.
 Sidney's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Chenango Forks, their victory bumped their record up to 9-12.
 Sidney does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Chenango Forks, they will head out on the road to  take on  Waverly at 6:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Waverly knows how to get  points on the board -- the  squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past 16 matches -- so hopefully Chenango Forks likes a good challenge.
