Meanwhile, Langston Hughes entered their tilt with Banneker on Thursday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victor by a 10-0 margin over the Trojans. The Panthers' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three matchups.

The victory got Newnan back to even at 3-3. As for Langston Hughes, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.

Everything went Newnan's way against Langston Hughes in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, as Newnan made off with a 10-0 victory.
