Basketball Recap: Cornell Comes Up Short

Cornell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 79-44 loss at the hands of the Prairie Farm Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 81-51 back in January.

Cornell's loss dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Prairie Farm, their win ended an 18-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-10.

Cornell didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 75-61 defeat against Bruce on the 10th. As for Prairie Farm, they have also already played their next match, a 59-39 loss against New Auburn on the 11th.
