Volleyball Game Preview: Lincoln-Way West Warriors vs. Lincoln-Way East Griffins

The Lincoln-Way West Warriors will head out to face off against the Lincoln-Way East Griffins at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.

On Tuesday, Lincoln-Way West came up short against Homewood-Flossmoor and fell 2-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Lincoln-Way East was able to grind out a solid victory over Joliet West on Saturday, taking the game 2-0.

Lincoln-Way West's defeat dropped their record down to 18-16. As for Lincoln-Way East, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-6 record this season.

Lincoln-Way West skirted past Lincoln-Way East 2-1 when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Do the Warriors have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Griffins turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
