Collins came tearing into Tuesday's match with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by an 8-1 margin over the Anderson County Bearcats. This was payback for the Titans, who suffered a 6-2 loss the last time these two teams met.

Brady Morris spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on four hits and racked up six Ks. He has been consistent: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Carter Poole was incredible, going 1-for-3 with one home run and four RBI. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Nolan Faulkner, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Collins' victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-12. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Anderson County, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-13 record this season.

Collins will have a chance to go back-to-back against Anderson County: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
