Basketball Recap: Pleasant Takes a Loss

After soaring to 56 points the game before, Pleasant was a bit more limited in their match on Friday. They took a hard 47-29 fall against the Marion Harding Presidents. The defeat continues a trend for the Spartans in their matchups with the Presidents: they've now lost four in a row.

Despite the loss, Pleasant still got an impressive performance from Evan Sickmiller, who went 5-for-8 to rack up 11 points. Owen Lowry was another key player, putting up six points.

Pleasant's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Marion Harding, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season.

Pleasant has already played their next game, a 46-43 defeat against Clear Fork on the 8th. As for Marion Harding, they will face off against Galion at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
