Basketball Recap: Williston Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Williston can bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They came out on top against the Jamestown Bluejays by a score of 81-71. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Coyotes also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Williston's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-7 and their overall record up to 2-9. As for Jamestown, their loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-9.

Williston and Jamestown could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps North Dakota Rankings. Williston will challenge Legacy at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday down 77 places (96 vs. 19). Similarly, Jamestown (ranked 104th) will meet Dickinson (ranked 27th) at 6:45 p.m. on Friday.
