Millard North waltzed into their matchup on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Columbus Discoverers. That's two games straight that the Mustangs have won by just one run.

Millard North's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-11. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 1.33 runs across that stretch. As for Columbus, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 13-16 record.

Millard North wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 4-3 victory against Bellevue West on the 10th. Columbus does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
