Football Recap: Hart Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Hart and Palm Springs squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Hart had to settle for second. They were just a hair shy of victory and fell 22-21 to the Indians. The contest was a 7-7 toss-up at halftime, but the Hawks couldn't quite close it out.

Despite the loss, Hart still got an impressive performance from Matix Frithsmith, who rushed for 180 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.3 yards per carry, and also picked up 48 receiving yards. The Hawks are 6-1 when Frithsmith posts 100 or more rushing yards, but 2-3 otherwise.

Even if they lost, Hart's defense still kept up the pressure with three sacks. In fact, those sacks all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Josh Whitson.

Hart's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Palm Springs, their victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-1.

Hart does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Palm Springs, they will challenge Barstow at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Aztecs' defense has only allowed 13.8 points per game this season, so the Indians' offense will have their work cut out for them.
