Basketball Recap: Jourdanton Takes a Loss

Jourdanton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 85-64 to the Crystal City Javelinas. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Javelinas this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 87-53 back in January.

It was another big night for Jayden Rousseau, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds for Crystal City. Rousseau has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last 16 times he's played. Rick Rios was another key player, dropping a double-double with 17 points and 17 boards.

Jourdanton's defeat dropped their record down to 15-14. As for Crystal City, the win (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 20-7.

As of now, neither Jourdanton nor Crystal City have any future games scheduled.
