Volleyball Game Preview: Fort Lauderdale Flying L's vs. Pembroke Pines Charter Jaguars

After both having extra time off, the Fort Lauderdale Flying L and the Pembroke Pines Charter Jaguars will shake off the rust and duke it out at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Tuesday, Fort Lauderdale beat Taravella 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Flying L's.

Fort Lauderdale walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-17, 18-25, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Pembroke Pines Charter was able to grind out a solid victory over Divine Savior Academy on Saturday, taking the game 2-0.

Fort Lauderdale's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-2. As for Pembroke Pines Charter, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.
