Softball Recap: Lithonia Takes a Loss

After flying high against M.L. King last Monday, Lithonia came back down to earth. The Lithonia Bulldogs came up short against the North Springs Spartans on Tuesday, falling 19-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 17-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August.

Lithonia's loss dropped their record down to 9-16. As for North Springs, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-10.

Lithonia does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for North Springs, their homestand will continue as they prepare to take on Blessed Trinity at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Blessed Trinity is coming into the game with seven straight wins on the road, so North Springs will have to stop a team with plenty of momentum.
