Volleyball Game Preview: Hill Falcons vs. Ann Sobrato Bulldogs

Hill is on a six-game streak of home losses, and Ann Sobrato a four-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Thursday. The Hill Falcons will be playing at home against the Ann Sobrato Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m.

Hill came up short against Westmont on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-20, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Ann Sobrato posted their closest victory since March 20th on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out Oak Grove 3-2. The win continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won five in a row.

Ann Sobrato had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 23-25, 22-25, 25-21, 26-24, 15-11.

Ann Sobrato's victory bumped their record up to 9-13. As for Hill, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-14.

Hill might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Ann Sobrato in their previous matchup back in March. Can the Falcons avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
