Hiland came tearing into Thursday's match with 11 straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Newcomerstown Trojans as they made off with a 3-0 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Hawks also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2020.

Hiland's got stronger as the match went on, holding Newcomerstown to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-12, 25-11.
