Bushland is 8-1 against Childress since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. Bushland will square off against Childress at 4:30 p.m. One thing working in Bushland's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last four contests.

On Tuesday, Bushland made easy work of River Road and carried off a 14-5 win. That's two games straight that the Falcons have won by exactly nine runs.

Bushland got a massive performance out of Bryson Jimenez, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. That's the most stolen bases Jimenez has posted since back in April of 2024. Ty Askins was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Meanwhile, Childress came tearing into Monday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 7-6 W against the Wolves. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Bobcats have posted since February 22nd.

Childress pushed their record up to 9-6-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.8 runs over those games. As for Bushland, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

Everything went Bushland's way against Childress in their previous meeting two weeks ago, as Bushland made off with a 12-5 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bushland since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
