Baseball Game Preview: McKay Royal Scots vs. Dallas Dragons

The McKay Royal Scots will face off against the Dallas Dragons at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. McKay is looking for their season's first win.

McKay came up short against Corvallis on Wednesday, falling 17-7.

McKay saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Santiago Garcia, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two RBI and one run. Jacob Webster was another, getting on base in two of his three plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Dallas didn't have quite enough to beat Crescent Valley on Wednesday and fell 12-11. The Dragons haven't had much luck with the Raiders recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

McKay's defeat dropped their record down to 0-18. As for Dallas, their loss dropped their record down to 14-5.

McKay suffered a grim 12-0 defeat to Dallas in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Can the Royal Scots avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
