The St. Joseph-Ogden Spartans will take on the Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin Blue Devils in a holiday battle at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Friday, St. Joseph-Ogden came up short against Normal University and fell 64-51.

Meanwhile, Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin entered their tilt with Oakwood last Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They really took it to the Comets for the full four quarters, racking up a 65-34 win. The Blue Devils have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 31 points or more this season.

St. Joseph-Ogden better keep an eye on Keison Peoples. He was instrumental in Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin's win, dropping a double-double with 33 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it seven consecutive games in which Peoples has scored at least a third of the Blue Devils' points. Micah Tidwell was another key player, putting up nine points and six steals.

Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in November of 2024.

St. Joseph-Ogden's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1.

St. Joseph-Ogden and Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin were neck-and-neck in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, but St. Joseph-Ogden came up empty-handed after a 45-44 defeat.
