Basketball Recap: Blair Oaks Comes Up Short

Blair Oaks lost against St. Elizabeth back in January of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Blair Oaks Falcons were outmatched by the St. Elizabeth Hornets and fell 68-37. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 281st, while the Hornets are ranked 68th).

Blair Oaks has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 9-16 record this season. As for St. Elizabeth, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-5.

Coming up, Blair Oaks is taking a road trip to challenge Versailles at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for St. Elizabeth, they will face off against Tuscumbia at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
