It was a good run, but West Point unfortunately witnessed the end of their 11-match winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Russellville Golden Tigers by a score of 3-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Golden Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

West Point started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 24-26, 20-25, 25-23, 26-24, 15-12.

West Point's defeat dropped their record down to 21-12. As for Russellville, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 38-14 record this season.

Coincidentally, West Point and Russellville will both be playing Hamilton the next time they take the court. The Warriors will host the Aggies at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Golden Tigers will play them later in the day, at 6:30 p.m.
