Volleyball Game Preview: Orange Lutheran Lancers vs. Sunny Hills Lancers + How To Watch

After both having extra time off, Orange Lutheran and Sunny Hills will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Orange Lutheran is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.

The home team had come away the winner the last six times Orange Lutheran and Santa Margarita had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Lancers lost 3-0 to the Eagles on Tuesday. Lancers fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Eagles since Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Sunny Hills didn't have quite enough to beat Canyon on Tuesday and fell 3-2. While the Lancers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Comanches 25-21 in the first set.

Sunny Hills started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 21-25, 21-25, 25-23, 25-14, 15-12.

Orange Lutheran will have to contain Bella George as she made an impact in Sunny Hills' last game. She had nine digs and two aces.

Orange Lutheran's defeat dropped their record down to 24-10. As for Sunny Hills, their loss dropped their record down to 19-6.

Orange Lutheran beat Sunny Hills 2-0 when the teams last played back in August of 2024. Will Orange Lutheran repeat their success, or does Sunny Hills has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
