Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Kirstyn Beberniss and Natalie Coss Lead Garden County to Victory

Garden County won the last time they faced Creek Valley and things went their way on Saturday too. The Eagles came out on top against the Storm by a score of 2-0.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Garden County was: they took both sets by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-6.

Garden County was led to victory by Natalie Coss and Kirstyn Beberniss. Coss had six aces, while Beberniss had six assists. Those six aces gave Coss a new career-high.

They weren't the only good server: Garden County was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in four consecutive matchups.

Garden County is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. As for Creek Valley, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Coincidentally, Garden County and Creek Valley will both be playing South Platte the next time they take the court. The Eagles will host the Blue Knights at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Storm will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
