Coronado's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 45-8 victory over the Sierra Stallions. The Cougars' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Thomas Buckmiller had an outrageously good game as he threw for 336 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 11.2 yards per attempt. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in rushing yards (nine). Zen Groves also helped with three touchdowns in total.

As for Sierra, they will head out on the road to square off against Pueblo Central at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
