The Davis Pirates will take on the Wenatchee Panthers at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Davis has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since the 11th.

Things were looking good for Davis after they put the first run on the board on Friday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They lost 15-1 to Moses Lake.

Wenatchee's found some homefield redemption this week after a overtime loss to Moses Lake on Saturday. The Panthers skirted past Stanwood 11-10. Wenatchee's win was all the more impressive since the Spartans were averaging only 1.76 runs allowed on the season.

Ryan Branam made a splash no matter where he played. He pitched two innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Branam was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Thomas Ivey was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. Matthew Butler was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
