After losing to Johns Creek the last time they met, Marist decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The War Eagles blew past the Gladiators 3-0 on Wednesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the War Eagles.

Marist walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-13, 25-19, 25-16.

Marist's win bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Johns Creek, they now have a losing record of 6-7.

After both having extra time off, Marist and Buford will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on September 4. As for Johns Creek, they will challenge Chattahoochee at 6:00 p.m. on September 4.
