Basketball Recap: Fargo/Gage Takes a Loss

On Friday, the Fargo/Gage Bearcats came up short against the Erick Bearcats and fell 60-53. While losing is never fun, Fargo/Gage can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 389th, while Erick is ranked 150th).

Fargo/Gage's defeat was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Erick, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-6.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Fargo/Gage Bearcats face off against the Laverne Tigers at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. Erick has already played their next match, a 53-50 victory against Duke on the 1st.
