Volleyball Recap: St. Monica Academy Comes Up Short

St. Monica Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Santa Clarita Christian Cardinals. If the Crusaders were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Cardinals when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

While St. Monica Academy ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-19, 23-25, 25-18.

St. Monica Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Santa Clarita Christian, they pushed their record up to 9-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

Coming up, St. Monica Academy will welcome Faith Baptist at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Santa Clarita Christian, they will take on Taft at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
