Soccer Recap: Davenport Comes Up Short

Davenport lost against Steele back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Davenport Wolves lost 7-2 to the Steele Knights. Wolves were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 6-1.

Carlos Roteta-Valdes and Vicente Hernandez scored both of Davenport's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Davenport is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5-1. As for Steele, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-0.

Davenport wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 7-0 victory against Somerset on the 17th. Steele has also already played their next game, a 4-0 defeat against Bowie on the 17th.
