Kansas School for the Deaf picks up third straight win at home

The Kansas School for the Deaf Jackrabbits came tearing into Saturday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 29.8 points) and they left with even more momentum. They secured a 36-32 W over Oklahoma School for the Deaf. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Kansas School for the Deaf also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2017.

Despite the loss, Oklahoma School for the Deaf still got an impressive performance from RyJan Reininger, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. Reininger has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. Russell Fewel was another key contributor, scoring four points along with three steals.

Kansas School for the Deaf pushed their record up to 6-1 with that win, which was their third straight at home. As for Oklahoma School for the Deaf, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kansas School for the Deaf will challenge Ozanam at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Oklahoma School for the Deaf, they will head out on the road to challenge Kentucky School for the Deaf at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday.
